This is a recipe for a pork chop with a kick. This chili-lime marinade will heat up any barbecue with a blend of flavors that is sure to please.

  • 4 boneless pork chops, 1/2 inch thick
  • 1⁄2 lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1⁄4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp cumin
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1⁄2 tsp hot pepper sauce (add more to taste)

Place your pork chops in an airtight plastic bag.

Now, to prep your marinade. Pour your chili powder, cinnamon, lime juice, olive oil, and cumin into a medium-size bowl and stir them together evenly.

Once your spicy marinade is ready, pour it over your pork. Turn it over and coat well. Allow to marinate for at least four hours, but ideally leave it overnight or 24 hours.

Preheat broiler, and when it’s done place your pork on the tray. Broil three to four minutes on each side.
