Pistachio Bread

Pistachio pudding adds all the flavoring into this unique bread.

  • 1 18 1/4 oz. box yellow cake mix
  • 1 box instant pistachio pudding
  • 1/4 C. oil
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1 C. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 C. crushed walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray 5 mini loaf pans. Mix with a blender the yellow cake mix, dry pistachio pudding, oil, sour cream, eggs and water. In another bowl mix the brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon. Start with a layer of the bread mixture, then sprinkle on the nut mixture, another layer of bread mixture, and at the end sprinkle the

top with the nut mixture and marble it all with a knife through the batter. Bake for 40 minutes or until when a wooden pick comes out clean.

Note: Can also make 2 9x5x3-inch loaves. Bake for one hour.
