Pistachio Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 pkg. pistachio instant pudding mix
- 1 C. sour cream
- 1/2 C. vegetable oil
- 1/4 C. sugar
- 1/4 C. water
- 4 eggs
Directions
In large bowl, mix the above ingredients and beat about 3 minutes. In small bowl make filling: 1 C. chopped walnuts or pecans, 1/2 C. brown sugar and 2 Tbs. cinnamon. Pour 2/3 of batter between 2 greased loaf pans (can use tube pan). Sprinkle filling over and cover filling with remaining batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until done. Cool right side up, then invert out of pan. May glaze with confectioners' sugar.
