Ingredients
- 4 2/3 C. sifted flour
- 2 Tbs. leaf lard
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/4 envelopes yeast
- 1 1/8 C. warm water
Directions
Place flour on pastry board, add lard, salt, pepper, yeast and warm water and work well until smooth. Place in large pan, cover and let rise in warm place for 2 hours. Place on a floured board and pound lightly to deflate it. Divide into 2 pieces and stretch each pie on bottom of greased 12-inch pie plate.
