Pardon the pun, but we have a feeling you'll go plum crazy over this delicate dessert recipe. The presentation may look tricky to pull off, but it's as easy as pie.

Ingredients

  • Dough:
  • 2 C. flour
  • 3 1/2 Tbs. flour
  • 1 oz. fresh yeast
  • 7 Tbs. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 Tbs. milk
  • 1/2 lemon, grated rind
  • Topping:
  • 3 1/4 lbs. plums,
  • 5 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 Tbs. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbs. Mascarpone cheese

Prepare a yeast dough. Grease a cookie sheet. On it, roll out the dough to about fingers-width thick. Along the edges, pull up the dough to form a rim. Top the tart with tightly arranged plum halves (at a slight angle). Dust with cinnamon, and bake at medium heat for 40 to 45 minutes. Once done, dust with sugar. Top with Mascarpone cheese.
