  • 8 pork chops
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 (10.5-oz.) can cream of celery soup
  • 2/3 C. milk
  • 1/2 C. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (26-oz.) pkg. shredded hash browns, frozen
  • 1 C. cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
  • 1 C. French fried onions, divided

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt. In a large skillet, brown pork chops on both sides in oil. Then combine soup, milk, sour cream, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Stir in hash browns, 3/4 C. cheese and half the onions. Spread mixture in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange pork chops on top. Cover and bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese and onions. Bake uncovered 5 to 10 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.
