Pork Chops and Apples

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops (3/4-inch thick)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
- 2 apples, cored and cut in half
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 1/2 C. water
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle half salt and pepper on chops. Brown in skillet. Place in 1 1/2-qt. casserole. Place apples, skin down, on top of chops. Sprinkle with sugar. Add caraway seeds and remaining salt and pepper to water and pour over chops and apples. Cover in oven for 30-40 minutes.
