I made this recipe for pork chops and scalloped potatoes up and my family just loves the taste and the fact that it's so easy and anyone can make it.

  • enough pork chops for however many people you are serving
  • 4 lbs. potatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pkg. American cheese slices
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • oil for frying

Directions

Brown pork chops in a little oil in frying pan. While that's cooking, peel and slice potatoes and slice so they're about 1/4 inch thick. Place potatoes in a 13x9-inch baking pan and salt to taste. Put a layer of cheese in between the potatoes. Place the browned pork chops on top and put a layer of cheese on them. Cover all with cream of mushroom soup and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes are fork soft.
