Pork Chops and Stuffing

A bread crumb stuffing with onion and a creamy sauce is baked with these pork chops.

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 Tbs. cooking oil
  • 3 C. soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbs. chopped onion
  • 1/4 C. melted margarine
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 10-3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/3 C. water

Directions

Heat cooking oil in oven-proof skillet and brown pork chops. Pour off all drippings. Mix bread cubes, onion, margarine, 1/4 C. water and poultry seasoning. Place a mound of stuffing on each pork chop. Blend cream of mushroom soup with 1/3 C. water. Pour over pork chops and stuffing. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.
