Pork Chops In Mushroom Sauce

Instead of gathering wild mushrooms, sample many different types offered in your grocery store for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 Tbs. onion, minced
  • 3/4 C. green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. onion soup

Directions

Brown chops; pour off drippings. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over chops. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
