Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 1 glass red wine
  • 1 lb. sm. round potatoes
  • 1 lb. green beans
  • 1 lb. carrots
  • 1/2 teacup butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • oil, for frying

Directions

Wash the pork chops. Sprinkle them with salt, pepper and oregano. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the pork chops over a medium heat, 10 minutes on each side. Add the wine to the pork chops. Prepare the vegetables as follows: Cut off the edges of the green beans and peel the carrots. Cut both the carrots and the beans in small sticks and wash them well. Boil them in water. Drain them and sauté them in butter seasoning to taste. Peel the potatoes and either fry them or bake them in the oven. Garnish the pork chops with the vegetables and the potatoes. Serve them warm.
