Tasty tacos, smothered in guacamole and sour cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 sm. onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbs. cooking oil
  • one 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 pickled chilies jalapenos, seeded, rinsed, and chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 C. chopped cooked pork
  • 12 taco shells
  • 2 C. guacamole
  • 1/2 C. sour cream

Directions

Cook onion in hot oil until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, jalapeno peppers, and salt.  Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.  Stir in chicken or pork; heat through.  Keep warm.  Meanwhile, place taco shells on baking sheet.  Heat in 350 degree oven for 5 to 10 minutes.  Spoon a little guacamole, sour cream, and meat mixture into each taco shell.
