  • 4 pounds bottom round beef roast
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 1 can beer
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 10 sandwich rolls
  • 10 slices American cheese
  • Lettuce

Add the meat to the crockpot and sprinkle with the onion soup mix. Pour in the can of soup and beer. Add the bouillon cubes and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 hours on high. Remove the meat and slice it. Place the beef back in the crockpot and cover. Keep on low heat until serving time. To assemble the sandwich, place a slice of cheese in each roll and top with meat and then lettuce.
