Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 4 C. all purpose flour
- 3 C. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 1 C. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 block butter, softened
- 2 sticks margarine, softened
- 1 pinch salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour one bundt pan or 2 cupcake pans. Combine flour, salt and baking powder and set aside. Mix butter, margarine, vanilla and eggs until creamy. Add flour mixture gradually making sure that mix is smooth before adding more. Add milk and blend well, bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes clean.
