  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1 C. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs

Mix baking powder with flour. Cream butter and sugar. Add well-beaten egg. Mix thoroughly. Add flour and milk alternately to first mixture. Combine both mixtures. Pour 1/2 batter in greased 9-by-13-inch pan. Spread pie filling over. Then add remaining batter. Bake for 50-60 minutes in a 350-degree moderate oven. Once cool coat in powdered sugar.
