Pound Cake with Pecans
Ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 3 C. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 1/2 C. flour (sifted)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract`
- 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. coconut extract
- 1 C. chopped pecans
- 1 C. buttermilk
Directions
Grease and flour tube pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients one at a time, mixing in a third of the buttermilk. after each one. Pour chopped pecans in pan first, then add cake mixture. Bake at 350 degreesĀ for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
