Pronto Beef and Rice

A quick easy supper for those nights when time is of the essence. I like to serve it with a crisp green salad.

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground sirloin
  • 1 1/2 C. uncooked rice
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 2 4-oz. cans chopped green chilies

In a large skillet, brown ground sirloin. Drain if needed. Add remaining ingredients to skillet, stir. Bring to boil. Cover, turn heat to low, let simmer 20-25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
