  • 2 lb. pork butt
  • 2 C. brown ale
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/3 C. spicy mustard
  • 1/4 C. molasses
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tbs. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 8 oz. French fries
  • 2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 C. red onions, diced
  • 1/4 C. green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 C. barbecue sauce

Place pork in a large slow cooker. Mix ale, brown sugar, mustard, molasses, cinnamon, salt, ground pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper in a large bowl. Pour sauce over pork. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange fries on baking sheet and top with cheese, pulled pork, green onion and barbecue sauce. Cook for 25 minutes or until fries are crisp and cheese is melted. Serve warm.
