Pulled Turkey Barbecue Sandwiches

This is a great recipe for pulled turkey sandwiches that tastes just like pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. I serve them on a bun with coleslaw and home fries and my family loves it. It is easy and a great low-fat, low-sodium meal, and just plain healthier way to eat BBQ.

Take Jennie-O turkey loins and place in crockpot.  Add your favorite bottle of barbecue sauce and salt and pepper. Cover and cook on high for approximately 3 hours until meat falls apart with fork.  Take fork and shred the turkey breast, cover and cook an additional 20 minutes.

  • I use BBQ sauce also, but I also add apple butter. It gives it a different kind of flavor. If you use honey BBQ sauce n Apple butter this is also good on ribs.

  • Anita-
This is a really wonderful way to get a meal on the table! I'm usually a from scratch girl, but I'm loving how simple this is. My husband has asked for me to make it twice this week! Thank you.
