  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 ½ diced green bell pepper
  • 1 ½ diced large onion
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can drained kidney beans
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

Cook the beef over medium heat. When it browns, drain the meat and then add the onion and green bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes before adding the beans, pumpkin, puree, tomatoes, and tomato juice. Add the remaining ingredients and stir. Simmer for 1 hour.
