  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 15oz bread
  • 8oz cream cheese, room temperature and cubed
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

Grease a baking dish. Place half the bread into the dish and dot with cream cheese. Cover with the remaining bread. In a bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla. Pour over the bread mix and cover. Refrigerate over night. Preheat the oven to 325F and bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until golden. Top with maple syrup.
