Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 C. sugar
  • 1 1/4 C. milk
  • 1 C. canned pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 C. vegetable oil
  • 3 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3/4 C. coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions

Combine sugar, milk, eggs, pumpkin, and oil in a large mixing bowl.  Combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and spices.  Stir into pumpkin mixture until well blended.  Fold in walnuts.  Pour batter evenly into 4 greased 5 3/4"x3" loaf pans.  Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes.  Remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
