Ingredients

  • 1 prepared frozen pie crust
  • 10-12 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • ½ cup of heavy cream
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • ¼ cup of minced onion
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup of cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F and then precook bacon and chop up into small pieces. Next, in a large bowl stir together eggs, cream, salt, sugar, and cayenne pepper. Throw the bacon and cheese into the pastry shell and then pour your bowl on top of the bacon and cheese. Let bake for 15-20 minutes and then reduce heat to 300°F for 30 more minutes. Let the Quiche Lorraine sit for about 10 minutes to cool off. Then enjoy!
