Quiche Lorraine
Ingredients
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell, chilled
- 1 C. grated swiss cheese
- 6 slices bacon, browned, drained, crumbled
- 1 Tbs. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 C. milk
- 1 Tbs. minced onion
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- pinch of sugar
Directions
Spread cheese in pie shell. Sprinkle 1 Tbs. flour over cheese. Sprinkle bacon over flour. Mix eggs, milk, onion, nutmeg, salt, pepper, melted butter and pinch of sugar together. Pour egg mixture on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 325 degrees for 30 Minutes.
