  • 2 9" Refrigerated Pie Crusts, room temperature
  • 3/4 C. Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tbs. All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 2 lb. Gala Apples, cored, peeled, and wedged
  • 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll one pie crust out in a 9" pie plate. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Add the apples and lemon juice, and gently toss to coat. Spoon pie filling into crust-lined pie plate. Top with second crust, pressing the edges of the crusts together to seal. Cut a few slits in the top crust to vent. Cover with foil to prevent over-browning. Bake for 30 minutes or until crust turns golden brown.
