  • 6 thick slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • A dash of salt
  • Blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, for garnish
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish
  • Maple syrup, for garnish

In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, salt, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Dunk each slice of bread into the mixture. Make sure you soak both sides.
Using a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat, place the bread onto the plan and cook until both sides are golden brown.
On a serving plate, place a good amount of maple syrup. Then, place the hot French toast. Garnish with powdered sugar and fruits.
