This recipe is simple to make with only 5 ingredients. It is absolutely delicious. I bake all the time and am not afraid to take on complicated recipes, but this one stunned me with its simplicity and great taste. I served mine with ice cream while it was still warm. Fantastic!

  • 1 16 oz. can of crushed pineapple; do not drain
  • 1 can of your favorite canned pie filling OR canned fruit; do not drain
  • 1 box (14 oz. )of white or yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 C. chopped pecans
  • 1 stick of butter, melted

Dump 1 can pineapple into an ungreased 9x13 pan/dish. Spread fruit on top, then sprinkle with pecans. Spread dry cake mix over everything, then drizzle melted butter all over mix. Feel free to put more nuts on top of the cobbler.

Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
