  • 1 C. flour
  • ¾ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. chili powder
  • 1 C. buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 jar pickle chips

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, and chili powder. In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the buttermilk. Drain the pickles, then soak them in the buttermilk mixture. Once they are coated, drop them into the flour mixture and coat well. Heat about 2 inches of oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, place a few pickles in at a time and fry for about 2 minutes. Drain on a paper towel.
