For a whole meal, you can put this mixture on sandwiches. It is complemented well by potato salad or salad too.

  • I have not tried this - I sent a message to the person who submitted the recipe to clarify the "can of milk" question and whether there is additional chicken in the recipe.

  • I am sure that she is referring to a can of condensed milk. Also, I would add a can of chicken breast meat to this recipe along with some sauteed onion and garlic. (You could also use fresh chicken cubed and saute it along with the onions and garlic.) Add the garlic for the last minute of sauteing. For those who like it spicy, add some red pepper flakes when you add the garlic.

  • There really must be a lot of inexperienced cooks who log onto this site. Everyone who sends a recipe MUST be more specific for the ingredients and procedure of all recipes because it is confusing the more inexperienced cooks. Those of us who have been cooking since the dawn of time usually know what you are talking about, but the others don't and I can imagine their frustration. Please be more considerate and more concise. Thanks for sharing all your recipes.

  • You have chicken in the chicken soup.

It would make an inexpensive and light comfort meal. Sort of reminds me of Creamed Chipped Beef Over Toast or Welsh Rarebit I used to make so frequently. They all are light and comforting to me.

  • Chicken and beef casserole.
OMG, my husband and I loved this. A new favorite. Hint-don't salt & pepper, you don't need it.
