Quick Pie Crust

This was my mother's quick pie crust recipe. It's not the prettiest pie, but it's easy to make and tasty too.

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. milk
  • 1/2 C. vegetable oil
  • Filling: Any store bought or homemade pie filling - I prefer peach.

Directions

Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Add milk and oil and stir well. Divide dough in half. Flatten half the dough into a greased pie pan. Add pie filling. Take remaining dough and tear into small pieces on top of pie filling until top is covered and dough is gone. Sprinkle top with sugar and dot with butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown.
