This raisin and nut filling tastes great!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 C. milk
  • 2 Tbs. flour
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 1/4 C. raisins and nuts, chopped
  • 1 C. sugar

Directions

Cook flour, 1 Tbs. sugar and milk until thick. Boil 1 C. sugar and water to soft-ball stage. Pour over beaten egg white. Beat well. When well beaten, add cooked mixture and beat until thoroughly smooth. Add raisins and nuts.
