  • 1 cup cinnamon raisin bread, cubed
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup raisins
  • dash of salt

Preheat oven to 350F and grease a baking dish. Toss the bread into the dish. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Stir in the raisins and pour over bread. Let sit for 15 minutes, or until bread is softened. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
