Here's a new family favorite mac and cheese with a creamy flavor. Mix ranch and bacon to create a more interesting mac and cheese for dinner tonight.

  • 2 C. elbow macaroni
  • 6 Tbs. butter
  • 2 Tbs. flour
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1 1/2 C. white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 C. monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 C. swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 C. ranch dressing
  • 7 bacon strips, crisply cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 C. Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Boil macaroni in medium pot with salted water for 7 to 8 minutes. Drain. In medium saucepan over medium heat, melt 6 Tbs. of the butter. Stir in flour to form a paste. Cook 2 minutes. Stir in milk and combine until smooth. Add cheeses. Stir until melted. Mix in drained macaroni, ranch dressing and bacon. Stir in salt and pepper. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
