  • 3/4 C. margarine, softened
  • 1 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 C. old-fashion quick cook oats
  • 1 10-oz. jar red raspberry preserves

Cream margarine and sugar, until light and fluffy. Add oats first, then soda and flour. Press 3/4 of the mixture into a 13x9-inch greased pan. Spread with preserves. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
