While making apple pies for a church supper, I ran out of cinnamon. While looking for something else to use, I found a bag of my son's Red Hot candies. Why not? They are just cinnamon and sugar. Results!! A beautiful pink apple pie. Red hots can be found in the candy aisle of any grocery store. They may be call cinnamon hearts in some places. They were the first to go in the dessert line.
