Red Hot Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. prepared pie crust for a 2 crust pie
- 1/3 C. sugar
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 5-6 Granny Smith apples, sliced thinly
- 1/4 C. Red Hot candies
Directions
Roll 1 pie crust into 9-inch pie plate. Peel, core and slice apples. Place half the apples in pie dish. Mix cornstarch and sugar. Sprinkle over this layer of apples. Finish filling pie dish with remainder of apples. Sprinkle Red Hots over top layer. Cover with top crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
