  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • ½ C. shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ C. water
  • 2 T. chopped red bell peppers
  • ½ lb. crab slaw meat
  • ½ tsp. old bay seasoning
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 C. oyster crackers, crushed
  • 1/3 tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ C. chopped celery
  • 2 T. chopped onions
  • 6 slices of white cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Sauté the onions, celery and pepper in butter. Place into refrigerator. Meanwhile, wash the mushrooms and remove the stems. Chop up the stems. Combine the chopped mushroom stems with the refrigerated vegetables. Add in the remaining ingredients, excluding the white cheddar cheese. Place the mushroom caps into a greased baking dish. Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps. Top each mushroom cap with the white cheddar cheese. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
