  • 1 Box of cake mix
  • 2 C. Water
  • 3 tsp. coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 container Whipped frosting
  • 1 bag red candy melts
  • 1 tsp. shortening
  • Craft sticks
  • 1 C. star shaped sprinkles

Begin by mixing the cake mix with the water, oil, and eggs in a 13x9 inch pan and then place it in the oven for about an hour. Using your fingers crumble the cake into a large bowl. Add the frosting and mix until you can shape the dough into balls. Freeze them for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile in a small bowl place the candy melts and let it melt for about 2 minutes. Remove cake pops from the freezer and stick the craft sticks into them and then, dip them into the melted candy. Repeat these steps with the remaining cake pops. Then, dip the ball into candy sprinkles and decorate as desired.
