Ingredients
- 1/2 - 3/4 lb. elbow macaroni
- 1 1/2 lb. ground meat (beef, pork or venison)
- 1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 28-oz. can petite diced tomatoes
- Optional:
- 1 sm. can corn, jalapenos
- shredded cheese
- beef stock
Directions
Cook and drain the noodles. Brown the meat in a skillet and drain. Mix all ingredients together in a large cassarole dish. Season to taste with seasoned salt and pepper. Top with shredded cheese if desired. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. The key to making this a great dish is making sure that there is enough moisture in the dish to cook the noodles to a soft texture. If there isn't enough moisture in the dish, add some beef stock.
