This is one of our family favorites and is very easy. It's also a great place to use the last of leftover ground beef or pork. You can use extra ingredients to suit your tastes like corn, jalapenos or cheese. I created this for my husband and have tweaked it over the years and he loves it. It's great served with sweet yellow cornbread on a chilly night!

Cook and drain the noodles. Brown the meat in a skillet and drain. Mix all ingredients together in a large cassarole dish. Season to taste with seasoned salt and pepper. Top with shredded cheese if desired. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. The key to making this a great dish is making sure that there is enough moisture in the dish to cook the noodles to a soft texture. If there isn't enough moisture in the dish, add some beef stock.
