  • 3/4 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 C. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 C. vegetable oil
  • 1/3 C. milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/3 C. hot water
  • 1/4 C. Greek yogurt
  • 6 Reese's peanut butter cups, chopped
  • Peanut Butter Frosting:
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1 C. peanut butter
  • 3 Tbs. milk
  • 2 C. powdered sugar

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix sugars, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add vegetable oil, milk, egg and vanilla extract. Use electric mixer to beat on low speed for 2 minutes. Pour in water and stir until well combined. Add in yogurt and mix well. Grease cupcake tins. Divide cupcakes evenly. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool.

For frosting, beat butter and peanut butter with electric mixer until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and milk until thick. Spread on cupcakes. If you desire, sprinkle cupcakes with Reese's mini peanut butter cups.
