  • Crust:
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 100 g. unsalted butter
  • 3-4 T. cold water
  • Cream:
  • 300 mL. semi-skimmed milk
  • 100 g. caster sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 T. flour
  • Tartlets
  • Mixed fruits of which you prefer, finely cut

The pastry requires you to sift the flour into a large bowl. Add the butter. Mix with water slowly. Add water and flour as needed. Place the dough into refrigerator for 30 minutes. After it is refrigerated roll out with rolling pin. For the cream warm the milk in a small pan, make sure it isn’t brought to a boil. On the side in a large bowl mix the yolks and sugar, when mixed place the flour into the mixture. Then add the warm milk into the bowl. Mix at a low heat and cool after it becomes thick.
For the tartlets preheat the oven at 350 degrees. Place the dough into mini tart forms. Place the cream into the dough. Put them into your oven for about 12 minutes. They should be a golden brown color. When baked, let them cool completely. Arrange the fruit you picked on top and serve when done.
