Rich Pecan Tea Bars

Ingredients
- 1 C. butter
- 2 C. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 C. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 C. pecans, chopped
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- Frosting:
- 5 Tbs. flour
- 1 C. milk
- 1 C. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour, salt, and pecans. Put half the batter in baking pan. Add melted chocolate to the remaining batter and spread over batter in pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool.
Frosting: In top of a double boiler, blend flour and milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until a paste is formed. Cool. Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add paste mixture and beat 5 minutes. Spread frosting over cooled bars.
