  • 4-5 turnips, trimmed, peeled, and cut in half
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 C chicken broth
  • 1 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In sauté pan, melt 4 Tbs. butter over medium-high heat. Add the turnips and sauté until golden brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Add the broth and granulated sugar. Cover and cook until tender-crisp, about 7 minutes. Season to taste, cover, and keep warm.
