These pies are too precious, it’s hard not to eat them. The combination of Red delicious apples and apricot preserve give it that tart flavor. Make these roses for any special occasion. Who needs a bae when you can make your own Rose Apple Pies.

  • 1 sheet of store-bought puff pastry, room temperature
  • 2 Red delicious apples, thin sliced
  • ½ cup of lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons of apricot preserve
  • ½ cup of flour
  • A Dash of cinnamon
  • Powdered sugar, topping

With your kitchen knife, cut the red delicious apples in thin slices. Make sure to remove the core.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add 2 ½ cups of water and ½ of lemon juice. Then, add the sliced apples into the bowl and heat it up in the microwave for 3 minutes.
Drain out all the water using a strainer.
In a small bowl, mix together the apricot preserve and 2 tablespoons of water. Heat it up in the microwave for 1 minute.
On flat surface, place the ½ cup of flour to unwrap and stretch out the room temperature puff pastry. Use a rolling pin, to stretch out the puff pastry. Cut the puff pastry into 6 strips. With a silicone brush, spread each strip with apricot preserve. Place the apple slices on the sides of the dough and overlapping one another. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Fold the dough in half and roll.
Let it bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
