Chicken and potatoes is a classic combination, but now you can add a little bit more to the age-old recipe with a bit of rosemary! This meal is perfect for a family feast, and hopefully there is enough for seconds!

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 6 tbsp. rosemary, minced
  • 6 potatoes, halved
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Melt margarine in a saucepan and season with rosemary and add a bit of salt and pepper. While margarine is melting, tie the legs of the chicken legs together.
Place chicken in a baking dish and surround with potatoes. Drizzle chicken and potatoes with margarine mixture
Cover with foil and place in oven for about 1 hour (or until chicken is cooked through). Baste chicken with margarine every 25 minutes or so
Let stand for a few minutes before serving
