  • Chicken Recipe:
  • 2 chicken legs
  • 1 T. low-fat butter
  • ½ T. lemon juice
  • Olive Garden Inspired Siena Sauce:
  • 2 T. coconut oil
  • 1 T. garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green olives with pimiento, chopped
  • 1/2 C. red wine
  • 1 C. tomatoes, diced
  • 1 can tomato puree
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1 C. basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Then, smear butter on the chicken and place it on a greased pan. Let chicken bake for an hour. Meanwhile, make the siena sauce. In a pan mix the oil, garlic, and saute for about 2 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients except bail. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Garnish with basil leaves. Once the chicken is ready, spritz some lemon juice on top of it. Serve with your favorite vegetables.
