This is a tried and true old-fashioned version. Very good and hard to mess up.

Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (No. 2) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 C. melted butter
  • 1 C. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 C. chopped nuts

Directions

Spread ingredients in a 9x12-inch pan (in order listed). Bake in 350-degree oven for 50 minutes or until done.
