Russ's Oyster Stew

Ingredients
- 1 pt. oysters
- 4 Tbs. butter
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 qt. whole milk
Directions
Place cleaned oysters, strained oyster liquid, butter and seasonings into a saucepan. Simmer gently until oysters begin to curl at the edges. At the same time, heat the milk, being careful not to scorch it. Add the hot milk to the oysters and oyster liquor mixture, and serve at once. For a thicker stew add from 4 to 8 Tbs. flour Serve with oyster crackers.
