Russ's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 lbs. tomatoes, skinned and cut up or two 1-lb. cans tomatoes, cut up
- one 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- one 12-oz. can tomato paste
- 1 C. beef bouillon
- 2 Tbs. parsley, minced
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
Directions
In a large skillet, crumble meat with onion and garlic. Cook over medium heat while breaking up pieces of meat with a fork until it loses its red color. Drain off excess fat. In a crockpot, combine meat mixture and other ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Freezes well.
