I have an aunt who makes these cutlets all the time! They're Greek and so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 C. cooked rice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • grated peel 1 lemon
  • 1/3 C. golden raisins
  • 1/2 C. flour seasoned with salt
  • 1/4 C. oil

Directions

Mix the beef, rice, egg, onion, salt and pepper, grated lemon peel and raisins together and form into four triangular cutlets, 1/2-inch thick. Dredge with the seasoned flour. Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the cutlets for 8 minutes on each side until golden. Serve with boiled rice and tomato sauce.

Serve with: Corn Fritters
