  • 1 ½ C. all-purpose flour
  • ½ C. cocoa powder
  • 1 C. granulated sugar
  • ½ C. packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¾ C. powdered sugar
  • 10 T. butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 dozen caramel cubes, unwrapped

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Set it aside. In an electric bowl add in the butter, granulated sugar and light-brown sugar and mix it for 5 minutes. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Scoop the dough out and roll out balls with your hands. Place them on a parchment cover-baking sheet. Place them 1 inch apart. Add a caramel cube on top of each cookie. Let it bake for 10-15 minutes. Place on cooling rack and sprinkle-powdered sugar over each cookie.
